What did we miss?
Are there strategic priorities missing for this core principle?
How do we address the growing health care needs of our local community? The nursing program and potential occupational assistant programs are good starts. But there are many more needs on the horizon as our community population grows. MCC is the logical training facility to meet this need, but we have not developed a comprehensive strategic plan for health care training.
To be innovative is to continually ask people for their input to improve processes or programs. So, a strategy should include ongoing focus groups: Create a dream team focus group of students and community members for input on new programs and critique current programs.
